Other Connectivity optionsWhile Psion's "EPOC Connect" product PsiWin will successfully synchronize your Psion with many Personal Information Manager (PIM) applications it has not been updated to convert the latest versions of some of these PIMs. There are a number of plug-ins and 3rd-party options available. A Desktop FTP ServerIf you're using a Series 7 or netBook then Ewan Spence has an interesting option for you: use a Wi-Fi connection to connect to an FTP server on your desktop machine.
Of course, this option won't allow you to synchronize your Contacts or Agenda with Outlook or other PIM. Intellisync for Symbian (US$69.95)http://www.pumatech.com/is_symbian_main.html Note: This version now appears not to be available from Pumatech. There is a Phone Edition available for users of the Symbian OS on mobile phones. "Intellisync® software from Pumatech keeps you constantly current with direct, two-way synchronization between your PC and Symbian Release 5.0-compatible handheld. I am assuming that this will upgrade previous versions of Psion InSync Pro E to the latest version. The same upgrade can be found as a free download (2.23 MB) on Psion's MyPsion website. You will need to register (which is free) to access this site. "This upgrade provides InSync Pro with additional support for Notes R5 and Email and Contact Manager synchronization, when used in conjunction with PsiWin 2.3 and a Psion Series 5mx, Revo or Series 7." | Plug-in for Lotus Organiser 5.0 / 6.0 (Zip, 1.34 MB) |
This is what the Psion website says about this plug-in:
"This is a plug-in synchronizer for PsiWin 2.3.1 which provides synchronization for Lotus Organizer 5.0/6.0 Calendar and Address Book. This plug-in is not supported for use with PsiWin 2.3.3. Lotus Organizer does not incorporate a native email application. The plug-in enables: Revo, Series 3, 5, 5mx and Series 7 Agenda files (appointments, events, to-dos and anniversaries) to be synchronised with Lotus Organizer 5.0/6.0 Calendar.
Revo, Series 5mx and Series 7 Contacts file to be synchronised with a Lotus Organizer 5.0/6.0 Contacts list."
I will try to find out if it does work with PsiWin 2.3.3.

The PsiWin Replacement for Windows, Macintosh or Linux
2connectU connects your Psion to a Macintosh or Linux computer. This compatibility is achieved by having the program run right on your Psion; you then access the program's output via a web browser, so it works fine with Windows too, or basically any desktop computer.
